Mohammed Kudus bids emotional farewell to West Ham after move to Tottenham

Ghana international Mohammed Kudus has penned an emotional farewell to West Ham United after completing a high-profile transfer to Tottenham Hotspur.

The 24-year-old attacking midfielder has signed a six-year contract with the North London club in a deal reportedly worth £55 million, making him the most expensive Ghanaian footballer in history, surpassing Arsenal’s Thomas Partey.

Following the announcement of his transfer, Kudus took to social media to express his gratitude to the Hammers and their supporters.

“Pleasure to be a Hammer running life’s marathon. Thank you for the warm seat through it all. Best wishes for the season and the future,” Kudus wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Kudus joined West Ham from Ajax and spent two seasons at the London Stadium, where he made 80 appearances, scored 19 goals, and provided 13 assists.

His performances were instrumental in the club’s success, including their UEFA Europa League triumph.

Now set to begin a new chapter with Spurs, Kudus is expected to bring creativity, pace, and attacking depth to Thomas Frank’s side as they prepare to compete on multiple fronts in the upcoming campaign.
