Fans of rapper Manifest wouldn’t take the latest words of colleague rapper Medikal lightly.
The 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Rapper of the Year says Manifest only tops the chart in the music industry when he shades Sarkodie.
M.anifest and Sarkodie were also embroiled in one of the biggest rap beefs the country had ever witnessed.
In 2016, M.anifest, in his ‘godMC’ track, took digs at Sarkodie after he released his ‘Bossy’ song. Sarkodie also quickly replied M.anifest in his ‘Kanta’ track.

Their beef songs trended on social media for several weeks and generated a lot of public debate.
They reunited last December when M.anifest had just finished an interview on Hitz FM while Sarkodie was also waiting for an interview on Joy FM.
But, Medikal in his latest post, has taken a swipe at M.anifest, saying “the only time your music gets attention is when you diss Obidi, so if Obidi stop de do music you die be that,” he tweeted (below).

Manifest dropped his ‘Rapper 101’ song on social media some few days ago and some fans of Sarkodie thought some parts of the lyrics in the song indirectly threw shots at their favorite rapper, Sarkodie.
In subsequent reports, M.anifest denied such claims indicating that even Sarkodie knows he wasn’t referring to him.
But, Medikal thinks it’s a smart move by M.anifest to indirectly direct traffic towards his yet-to-be released album.
