Ghanaian rapper Medikal has cautioned organisers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) following his nomination in the Artiste of the Year category.
During a performance in Kumawu, the rapper paused his set to address fans about the upcoming TGMA27 nominations.
Medikal revealed that he had been nominated in several categories, including the top Artiste of the Year slot, and urged fans to send a message to the award organisers.
“Tell the TGMA people they shouldn’t do no libilibi, no labalaba,” he said.
The rapper emphasized that he worked hard and delivered strong performances throughout the year compared to other artistes. He therefore called on organisers to ensure fairness in selecting the winner of the Artiste of the Year category.
