The 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season kicks off this weekend, with clubs across the country set to begin their campaigns in the opening round of fixtures.
The new season will be played over two days, with matches scheduled for Saturday, September 6, and Sunday, September 7.
Vision FC and Young Apostles will raise the curtain on the campaign when they meet at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema on Saturday. Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00 GMT.
A full slate of fixtures follows on Sunday, with Hearts of Oak hosting Berekum Chelsea at the University of Ghana Stadium as the Phobians look to make a positive start to the season.
Newly promoted Debibi United face an early test of their top-flight credentials when they welcome Asante Kotoko to the Golden City Park in Berekum.
Elsewhere, Basake Holy Stars will take on Swedru All Blacks at the AAK II Sports Arena, while FC Samartex host Karela United at the Nsenkyire Arena.
Heart of Lions will entertain Aduana FC at the Kpando Sports Stadium, with Bechem United facing reigning champions Bibiani Gold Stars at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
The meeting between fellow newcomers Port City FC and FC AshantiGold at the Nana Boamah Darko Park is expected to be one of the standout fixtures of the opening weekend.
All Sunday matches are scheduled to kick off at 15:00 GMT.
