A man has been arrested in the Ashanti Region for attempting to sell his 18-month-old baby girl for GH¢50,000.00.
Reports by LUV FM’s Erastus Asare Donkor indicated that the man, who hails from the Eastern region, approached a security man at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, to lead him to any medical professional who could help him sell the baby because he was unable to cater for her.

The security man, whose identity is yet to be confirmed, apparently disgusted by the ‘dirty deal’, informed the Kumasi Central Police station and was advised to feign interest.

While negotiating the price for the baby on Friday, the police busted the suspect. The baby is currently under the care of a neighbour.
