A man believed to be in his 30s has been found dead in stagnant water at Juaboso in the Western North Region.
According to reports, the man, identified only as Mawuli, left home about two days ago, and his whereabouts had been unknown until the discovery.
On Tuesday afternoon, some children who had gone fishing spotted his lifeless body lying face down in a pool of stagnant water.
Residents familiar with Mawuli shared that he had previously been involved in an accident that left one of his arms injured. Known locally as a mason, he was regarded as a stranger in the community, with no one aware of his family background.
The body has been deposited at the Juaboso Government Hospital mortuary for preservation and further investigation.
