President John Mahama will today, May 5, 2025, roll out a stringent Code of Conduct for all his appointees as part of his 120-day Social Contract commitments to Ghanaians.
The Minister in Charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, announced this in a post on social media.
Mr Ofosu, who also serves as the Member of Parliament for Abura Asebu Kwamankese, said the coming week marks “a pivotal moment for the government’s reform agenda.”
He explained that the code was first unveiled during the ministerial swearing-in ceremony and is intended to clarify ethical expectations for public officeholders.
He emphasised that the code will serve as a cornerstone for accountability, guiding appointees’ behaviour across all sectors of government.
