
President John Dramani Mahama has reiterated his government’s commitment to delivering timely development and investment projects in the Savanna Region.
Speaking at the Jubilee House during a courtesy visit by the Overlord of the Gonja Kingdom, Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewu Soale I, and a delegation of chiefs, President Mahama assured the people of the region that his administration would fulfill its promises.
Key initiatives outlined include the provision of potable water, the construction of a regional hospital, new school infrastructure, agricultural support, and major road developments.
The Yagbonwura and his delegation used the occasion to formally congratulate the President on his victory in the recent December elections and to remind him of his development pledges to the Savanna Region.
President Mahama expressed gratitude for the visit and emphasized his vision to ensure the growth and prosperity of the region through targeted infrastructure and social investments.
He also urged traditional leaders to collaborate with government to accelerate development efforts.
“The wellbeing of the Savanna Region is a top priority. Together, we can transform the region and improve the lives of our people,” the President said.
