President John Dramani Mahama, together with the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has donated GH₵50,000 to the family of the late legendary highlife musician, Daddy Lumba.
The donation was presented during the final funeral rites of the iconic artiste at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Saturday, December 13.
Supporters and well-wishers described the gesture as a moment of unity and compassion, urging Ghanaians to come together to pay their last respects to the national icon.
Daddy Lumba, widely regarded as one of Ghana’s greatest musicians, leaves behind a rich musical legacy that continues to inspire generations.
