Mackristy Academy has once again showcased its dedication to academic excellence, recording outstanding results in the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
Speaking to Adom News, Assistant Headteacher Edmund Asamoah expressed pride in the school’s exceptional performance, describing it as a reflection of Mackristy Academy’s strong academic culture and commitment to holistic learning.
This year’s BECE candidates achieved impressive aggregate scores of 7, 8, 9, and 10, placing them among the top-performing students nationwide.
Mr. Asamoah noted that students scoring aggregates 7 and 8 displayed exceptional mastery of both core and elective subjects, while those with aggregates 9 and 10 demonstrated commendable consistency, discipline, and understanding across all areas of the exam.
“This excellent performance is a testament to the hard work of our teachers, the dedication of our students, and the unwavering support of parents and guardians,” he said. “It also reflects the effective teaching and learning strategies we have implemented throughout the academic year.”
He encouraged the graduates to maintain this high standard as they transition to senior high school, expressing confidence in their preparedness for the next phase of their education, and extended congratulations to all 2025 BECE candidates for their achievements.
Meanwhile, Founder and Director Mark Odame commended the teachers for their dedication and resilience, which he said were instrumental in attaining this milestone. Reflecting on the school’s humble beginnings, Mr. Odame recalled the early challenges but emphasized that perseverance and a firm commitment to quality education have transformed Mackristy Academy into a center of academic distinction.
He also appealed to school proprietors nationwide to prioritize the welfare of teachers and staff, stressing that motivated educators are essential for sustained academic success.
