Cypriot champions Pafos came from behind to draw with Monaco, as David Luiz became the second oldest scorer in Champions League history.

The visitors led through Takumi Minamino’s first-time finish from Maghnes Akliouche’s pass.

Anderson Silva then hit the bar for Pafos with a clever effort from outside the box.

Luiz, 38, scored a brilliant bullet header from Mislav Orsic’s corner, registering his first Champions League goal since 2017 when he was at Chelsea.

Folarin Balogun put Monaco back ahead after being gifted the ball by keeper Neofytos Michael.

But Pafos rescued a late point when Ivan Sunjic hit the bar and the ball went in via a deflection off the unfortunate Mohammed Salisu.

Both sides have one win, three draws and a defeat after five games.

Paul Pogba was an unused substitute for Monaco, having made his comeback at the weekend after over two years out following a doping ban and lack of fitness.
