President John Dramani Mahama is in Parliament today, Friday, February 27, to deliver the 2026 State of the Nation Address (SONA).
The address is expected to provide a comprehensive overview of the country’s current situation, highlighting achievements across key sectors and outlining the government’s priorities and policy direction for the year ahead.
Key areas likely to feature include the economy, health, education, agriculture, and infrastructure, along with updates on Ghana’s international relations and commitments.
The presentation is in line with Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution, which requires the President to appear before Parliament at the start of each session to report on the state of the nation.
