Ghanaian dance legend Terry Bright Ofosu has cautioned young people against becoming overly focused on fame and outward displays of success.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz, Ofosu emphasized that life is unpredictable and that fame can disappear as quickly as it comes.
He noted that one moment a person may feel like a star, but an unexpected turn in life—such as illness—can quickly change everything.
“Life can be very illusive. One moment you think you’re a star and another moment you’re hit with a sickness and the stardom just vanishes,” he said.
Ofosu advised the youth to avoid constantly flaunting their achievements or status, stressing that humility and focus are more valuable in the long run.
He urged young people to remain grounded and to work towards meaningful contributions to society rather than chasing temporary recognition.
