A lecturer in Political Marketing at the University of Education, Winneba, Bernard Tutu Boahene, has raised concerns about the potential impact of LGBTQ practices on procreation.

Speaking on AM Show on JoyNews, he stated that if such practices become widely accepted, they could affect procreation rates.

According to him, while some individuals may choose not to have children, the broader normalization of same-sex relationships as a right could have implications for population growth.

Dr. Tutu Boahene further noted that the subject is deeply emotional for him, particularly from a religious perspective. He explained that, as a Christian, he believes in natural and divine principles regarding creation and procreation, rather than what he described as human-driven interpretations of rights.

“If the LGBTQ bill is not passed, it will limit procreation,” he added.

He emphasized that his stance is rooted in respect for what he considers God-ordained structures of life and reproduction.
