Kwahu West Municipal Assembly has received a new ambulance to replace the one lost in an accident three months ago.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Tamimu Halidu, officially handed over the vehicle to the Kwahu West Ambulance Service, explaining that the previous ambulance was damaged beyond repair in a crash on the Nkawkaw–Abirem road, which had hindered emergency response in the municipality.

He noted that the new ambulance will enhance the handling of critical health emergencies and help save more lives. The MCE also pledged to provide vehicles to institutions such as DOCSVU and the NCCE to support their operations.

Municipal Ambulance Commander for Nkawkaw, Charles Dumenu, expressed gratitude to the MCE and appealed for an additional ambulance to further improve service delivery in Nkawkaw and surrounding communities.
