Interim Prince Owusu says there is a growing sense of belief within the Asante Kotoko camp as they prepare for a decisive Ghana Premier League clash against Nations FC.

The Porcupine Warriors will host their regional rivals in a Matchday 26 fixture at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, March 22, with pressure mounting on the hosts to deliver a strong response.

Owusu revealed that preparations have been stepped up significantly over the past week, with the technical team sharpening focus on securing maximum points.

“Yeah, I think preparation has been very, very high since last week. We played a pretty match, and then we came back, started training Tuesday, and we’ve done a lot that we are trying to prepare the boys that we need to win and win badly,” he said.

The interim boss also pointed to a noticeable improvement in team spirit, describing a squad that is increasingly united and confident ahead of the high-stakes encounter.

“So, with the boys, their mentality and everything, I’ve shifted, I’ve seen that they’re all even together, talking to each other. Some of them are even approaching me, telling me this game is a win game, so it looks very good,” he added.

Kick-off is set for 15:00 GMT.
