Kojo Antwi visits Daddy Lumba’s family, pays tribute to late highlife icon

Ghanaian music legend Kojo Antwi has visited the family of the late Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, to offer his condolences following the highlife musician’s passing.

Kojo Antwi, accompanied by his family and close friends, visited the late musician’s private residence at Kinshasha Crescent, where a condolence book has been opened in his honour.

In a moving tribute during the visit, Kojo Antwi reflected deeply on the loss of his long-time colleague and fellow cultural icon.

He described the moment as one of sadness and heartbreak, sharing the emotional weight of losing a brother in the music industry. He expressed confidence that his “dear brother’s” contribution to Ghanaian music and culture will never be forgotten.

Kojo Antwi also extended his condolences to the bereaved family, the music and tourism fraternity, and fans across the globe.

Daddy Lumba, born Charles Kwadwo Fosu, reportedly died on Saturday, July 26, 2025, after a brief illness.
