Chief Executive Officer of the Consumer Protection Agency, Kofi Kapito, is under fire on social media for complimenting the backside of news anchor, Serwaa Amihere.
He made the comment at the recently held Radio and Television Personality Awards (RTP).
While about to present an award on stage, Mr Kapito took a glance at Miss Amihere who was seated in the auditorium.

He said, “Serwaa Amihere, [he paused and continued] look at your butt, nice,” before he requested for the nominees.
Reacting to this, however, the news anchor labelled it as a classic case of sexual harassment because the gesture was “needless and completely disrespectful,” adding that, “I’m appalled by his utterances.”
As a result, female broadcasters, Adom FM’s Afia Pokuaa and Nana Aba Anamoah have waded into the matter.

Nana Aba simply said, “unacceptable from Kofi Kapito!” with Afia Pokuaa asking Serwaa Amihere if she had filed a complaint.
