Hundreds of people have trooped to the Kintampo hospital to identify dead bodies brought there after the accident at the water fall.
The people, mostly clad in red and black attire rushed to the hospital morgue following reports of an accident at the Kintampo water fall which has reportedly led to the death of about nineteen persons.
The victims are said to be students of the Wenchi Methodist Senior High School and the University of Renewable Resources in Sunyani.
About 22 persons, including 3 students from the University of Renewable Resources are also on admission at the Kintampo hospital.
Adom News’ Wiafe Akenten reported that the accident occured after a windstorm that led to the collapse of several trees that have formed a canopy around the water fall.
The trees fell on the revellers who were swimming at the time.
