Kevin Taylor’s lawyer speaks on his travel details after Supreme Court ruling [Video]

Lawyer for social commentator Kevin Taylor, Peter Okudzeto, says he is unaware of his client’s travel arrangements or how long he has been in Ghana.

Speaking in an interview on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem, Mr. Okudzeto explained that his legal instructions were limited strictly to court-related matters.

“I am not aware of Kevin Taylor’s travel arrangements. His residence or how he got to court are not part of my instructions, so I cannot confirm or deny anything about that,” he said.

According to him, he received his instructions from Mr. Taylor prior to the court date, and his role was to meet him in court.

“I just gave him the court date and told him to meet me there, which he did. As far as I’m concerned, once we meet in court, we’re good to go,” he stated.

When asked how long Mr. Taylor had been in the country, the lawyer responded, “I can’t say for how long he’s been here. I’m not involved in that aspect.”

His comments come in the wake of a Supreme Court ruling on July 21, 2025, which quashed a 2020 arrest warrant issued by the High Court for contempt.

The warrant was in response to what was described at the time as “extremely scandalous” remarks Taylor made about the judiciary.
