Kenyasi Youth donate educational materials to 13 basic schools

The Concerned Youth of Kenyasi No. 2, a local youth association in the Ahafo Region, has donated educational materials to 13 basic schools in the community to support teaching and learning.

The items, presented during the official launch of the association, included 2,600 exercise books, 62 boxes of pens, and 26 boxes of whiteboard markers.

Beneficiary schools included Anglican, Methodist, Presbyterian, Osei Kofi Abiri, Asutifi Education Complex, God’s Will, and Ahmadiyya schools, among others.

Speaking to Adom News, the association’s Public Relations Officer, Amponsah Francis, said many pupils lack essential learning tools because their parents cannot always provide them. He explained that the donation aims to bridge this gap and enhance academic performance.

Amponsah added that the group also plans to improve sanitation in Kenyasi by working with the district assembly to supply waste bins.
