Pupils of Kenyasi-Muoho Anglican Junior High School (JHS) in Gambia No. 2, Ahafo Region, have raised concerns about the lack of adequate facilities to support their learning.
Speaking to Adom News, Antwi Priscilla explained that the school’s roof leaks during rains, disrupting teaching and learning and affecting academic progress.
She also highlighted an abandoned library that has remained incomplete for years, calling for urgent action to complete and furnish it.
Another pupil, John Philip Combat, said that the school requires a functional computer room to enhance students’ knowledge of computing.
He noted that the uncompleted computer room has hindered learning, urging the Asutifi North District Assembly, philanthropists, and other organizations to step in and help complete the facility.
The students’ concerns underscore the urgent need for infrastructure improvements at the school to provide a conducive environment for learning.
