Businessman Ebenezer Kwabena Adu, popularly known as K Adu of K Adu Gas, Stove and Oven, celebrated his birthday with a philanthropic gesture by donating 15 mobile phones to dedicated listeners of Nhyira FM.
The donation was made during a live broadcast of Nsem Kese3, a programme hosted by Kwasi Boafo.
The initiative was aimed at supporting loyal listeners who actively contribute to discussions on the station through regular call-ins.
Speaking on the programme, K Adu shared his personal connection with the station, revealing that he was once a serial caller and remains an active participant in its programmes.
He disclosed that at one point he used as many as eight mobile phones to consistently engage with the station’s content — a testament to his longstanding dedication to Nhyira FM.
According to him, the donation forms part of his commitment to giving back to the community that has played a significant role in his journey.
By providing mobile phones to fellow serial callers, he hopes to enhance their ability to participate actively in discussions and stay connected to the station.
