Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Ayawaso West Wuogon MP, John Dumelo, has reinforced his commitment to improving the well-being of schoolchildren in the constituency with a significant donation to school feeding caterers.
Dumelo presented 50 gallons of cooking oil, 400 bags of locally produced rice, 1,000 crates of eggs, and one tonne of Ghanaian chicken to the caterers.

The donation, he said, is part of efforts to enhance meal quality and encourage the use of Made-in-Ghana produce.
According to him, the gesture aligns with his broader plan to ensure that every child in Ayawaso West receives nutritious meals prepared from locally sourced ingredients.

He explained that strengthening the school feeding programme remains one of the most practical ways to support both children and local farmers at the same time.
Caterers welcomed the donation, describing it as a boost to their operations at a time when food prices continue to challenge their work.

They also praised the MP for consistently engaging with them and responding to their needs.
