Ghanaian striker Jerry Afriyie has sealed a season-long loan move to Belgian Pro League side RAAL La Louvière from Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadsiah.
The 18-year-old will feature for the newly-promoted Belgian outfit throughout the 2025/26 campaign.
Afriyie spent last season on loan with Spanish Segunda División side CD Lugo.
La Louvière secured Afriyie as part of their squad reinforcement drive ahead of their maiden season in Belgium’s top flight.
The youngster’s arrival is expected to bolster the team’s attacking options as they prepare for a tough campaign.
Afriyie first caught international attention in 2024 with standout performances for Ghana’s U-20 side, the Black Satellites, before making his senior debut for the Black Stars.
His pace, flair, and clinical finishing have already marked him out as one of Ghana’s most promising talents.
The Belgian club is confident the forward can make an immediate impact as they seek to establish themselves at the highest level.
Afriyie has already linked up with his new teammates in training and could make his league debut this weekend when La Louvière take on reigning champions Union Saint-Gilloise.
