Jeff Konadu Addo has retained his position as Eastern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) after securing victory in the party’s regional executive elections.

The incumbent chairman, who was seeking re-election, polled 405 votes to defeat his challenger, Albert Kwadwo Boa-Agyemang, who obtained 292 votes.

His victory gives Mr Konadu Addo another mandate to lead the NPP’s Eastern Regional branch and oversee efforts to strengthen the party’s structures across the region.

In other results, Twum Barimah Koranteng was elected First Vice Chairman, while Tony Osei Adjei emerged as the new Regional Secretary.

The newly elected executives are expected to play a key role in the NPP’s ongoing internal reorganisation and preparations ahead of the 2028 general elections.
