Evangelist Patricia Asiamah, popularly known as Agradaa and General Overseer of Heaven Way Chapel, has sparked another social media storm after being spotted at the headquarters of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) during the recent arrest of NPP stalwart, Chairman Wontumi.
In a video shared on Instagram on June 6, 2025, Agradaa described the EOCO invitation as a mark of status, saying only influential and successful individuals are summoned by the anti-graft agency.
“It is not an easy thing to be invited by EOCO. If EOCO invites you, it shows you are a wealthy person who has lived a profitable life. So make sure you live a good life and pay your taxes. Don’t involve yourself in corruption,” she said.
She urged the public to keep their affairs clean, stressing, “Make sure that everything you are doing in your life is genuine. When it comes to your documents, everything should be clean.”
The controversial evangelist also took a swipe at politician Hopeson Adorye, who has publicly criticised her in recent weeks. According to Agradaa, Adorye has no moral right to attack her character.
“Hopeson, your caption about me doesn’t make sense. You were not invited by EOCO even though you received an appointment from Akufo-Addo. I am not your mate. If Chairman Wontumi and I were invited and you weren’t, then it means I am more powerful than you,” she fired.
The clash between Agradaa and Hopeson Adorye has escalated in recent weeks, culminating in a defamation lawsuit filed by Adorye and his wife, gospel musician Empress Gifty.
The couple is demanding GH₵20 million in damages from Agradaa for allegedly misusing Empress Gifty’s trademark and making defamatory remarks.
