Hearts of Oak head coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, says the game against Vision FC was an even contest, with the result going either way following their defeat.
The Phobians conceded a late goal to suffer a 1-0 defeat to Vision on Saturday in the Matchday 29 games, dealing a blow to their title ambitions as they failed to close the gap on the teams above them.
Speaking after the game, Didi Dramani noted that it was a tightly fought encounter that saw a few chances created, insisting there was no game flow.
“It was an open game, and either side could win the game, and I think that everyone will be disappointed because we came to play to try to win the game, and so if you don’t get the outcome that you need, you should be disappointed,” he said.
“I’m not sure there will be a team that could have won this game here. So there were so many factors that wouldn’t give us a chance to go in there, and we needed a flow of the game, and there was no flow of the game,” he added.
The defeat leaves the Rainbow Club third in the league standings, failing to catch up with the top two as they fall 7 points behind league toppers Medeama SC.
With five games left, Hearts of Oak will now turn its attention to Karela United as the Phobians hope to return to winning ways to improve their title ambitions.
