Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani remains optimistic about his side’s chances of clinching the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League title despite a slow start to the season.
The Phobians currently sit sixth on the league table with 18 points from 11 matches, five points behind leaders Aduana FC.
The record FA Cup champions have struggled in November, securing just one win—a 2-1 victory over Berekum Chelsea.
Speaking on the team’s prospects, Dramani insisted there is still ample time to turn their campaign around.
“It’s still possible to win the league because we have over thirty matches more to play. We just have to turn our drawing streak into wins. If you want to win the league, you have to win games,” he said.
Reflecting on Sunday’s 0-0 draw, their sixth match of the season without scoring, Dramani acknowledged the quality of their opponents.
“I think the game was what we anticipated. And we knew they would be motivated because they were playing against Hearts of Oak. It was a game of few chances and more transitional plays,” he added.
Hearts of Oak will look to bounce back when they host Vision F.C. in Matchday 12 at the Accra Sports Stadium this weekend.
