The Ministry of the Interior has urged residents of the Greater Accra region to remain vigilant after issuing an emergency weather alert warning of possible flooding ahead of moderate rainfall expected early on Monday, July 6, 2026.
The ministry, in a text message sent to residents on Sunday evening, warned that moderate rain was expected between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. on Monday, with a 40 percent chance of occurrence.
