The Government, through the Ministry of the Interior, has declared Thursday, December 25, and Friday, December 26, 2025, as well as Thursday, January 1, 2026, as public holidays.
The announcement was made in a statement posted on the Ministry’s website and signed by the Sector Minister, Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka.
The holidays correspond to Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day, in line with Ghana’s official public holiday schedule.
In the statement, the Minister called on the general public, institutions, and organisations across the country to duly observe the holidays as required by law.
