Golden Kick FC head coach Fiifi Parker Hanson has expressed interest in joining Hearts of Oak—but only if the club meets his terms and working conditions.
The young tactician, who has received praise for guiding the lower-tier side to the MTN FA Cup final, has been linked with several clubs, with Hearts of Oak emerging as a strong contender for his signature.
Responding to media reports linking him with the Phobians, the former Right to Dream Academy coach confirmed he is open to the opportunity but emphasized the need for mutual understanding.
“Hearts of Oak is a big team, but it has its own style of operation. If they (Hearts) come to seek my services, I will gladly join them only if the negotiations between us go well,” he told Kumasi-based Akoma FM.
“I will evaluate their method of doing things to see if it suits mine, but I will not force myself if the working atmosphere is not pleasant for me.”
Hearts of Oak recently announced the appointment of Didi Dramani as their new head coach on a two-year deal ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Asked whether he would be willing to work under Dramani, Parker Hanson responded positively: “I’ve known Didi Dramani for a long time; we worked together at Right to Dream Academy, so working under him at Hearts of Oak won’t be a difficult task—in fact, it will help my career.”
However, he was quick to add a caveat: “That doesn’t mean I will still go to Hearts if my ethics don’t align with theirs. If they do, there won’t be any issues. I welcome any club that wants to collaborate with me,” he added.
In a related development, Hearts of Oak are in advanced talks to appoint Najahu Issah as their new goalkeepers’ trainer.
