Ghanaian singer Mildred Ashong, popularly known as Eazzy, says she would opt for payola than get under the sheets with a disc jockey just to promote her songs.
She made the point in an interview with Ohemaa Woyeje on Adom FM’s Work and Happiness.

According to the Obaa Gbe Mi composer, she would be comfortable if the song receives less patronage than consider sleeping with an industry player for publicity purposes.
“I am sure some people are comfortable with that but I would rather pay payola than sleep with a DJ for promotion. How much money would he take? If I can’t afford the song can dive down…” She told Ohemaa Woyeje.
