Hajia Zahara Ligbi, wife of the late Acting Deputy National Security Coordinator, Alhaji Mohammed Muniru Limuna, has paid a deeply personal tribute to her husband, remembering him as a man of principle, humility, and unwavering love.
Speaking at the state funeral for the victims of the August 6 helicopter crash, she reflected on their 28-year marriage, describing him as her partner, confidant, counsellor, and truest friend.
“I saw the man behind the public figure,” she said.
She praised his discipline, compassion, and strength, both in public service and at home.
Hajia Zahara recounted his generosity — from sponsoring the education of promising youth to resolving disputes with calm wisdom — noting that his kindness extended their family beyond blood to every corner of Ghana.
“You inspired loyalty not because you demanded it, but because you earned it.
May Allah grant you Jannatul Firdaus and unite us again in His mercy,” she prayed.
