Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale says his focus in music has shifted from producing hit songs to delivering meaningful messages to his audience.
Speaking on Ekosii Sen on Asempa FM, the musician said he has reached a stage in his career where he is more interested in using his music to inspire people.
According to him, his songs now focus on sharing messages about life, hope and faith in God.
Shatta Wale explained that while hit songs remain important in the music industry, he now prioritises content that encourages and motivates listeners.
“I think I have reached a point where I am not necessarily looking for hit songs. Now I am focused on sending messages—how to go about life, messages of hope, and believing in God,” he said.
