Ghanaian musician Ren Mich has disclosed that he dropped out of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) to fully focus on his music career.

Speaking during an interview on Daybreak Hitz with host Kwame Dadzie, Ren Mich explained that balancing academics and music had become increasingly challenging, prompting the difficult decision.

He revealed that he left UPSA about four years ago while in Level 200.

“I dropped out of school to focus on music because I needed more time to concentrate on it,” he said.

Ren Mich added that managing both school and his growing music career was tough, and he feared that continuing with both could hinder his progress in music. He described the decision as necessary to avoid losing momentum in his career.
