I am the unifier NPP needs – Adutwum

Bosomtwe Member of Parliament (MP) and New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has boldly positioned himself as the unifier the party needs as it heads toward the 2028 general elections.

In an interview with Adom News, the former Education Minister emphasised that the NPP’s success hinges on choosing a leader capable of bringing all factions together after the internal contest.

Dr. Adutwum highlighted that his vision for the NPP goes beyond winning the flagbearership; it is about healing divisions, strengthening party structures, and restoring confidence among grassroots members.

He explained that his clean and issues-driven campaign is a deliberate strategy to foster harmony, avoid internal tensions, and ensure that every aspirant and supporter feels respected and valued.

According to him, unity is the most powerful weapon the NPP can wield going into 2028, and he stands ready to champion that cause.

“The party needs a unifier,” he noted, stressing that only a united front can position the NPP to recapture power.

Dr. Adutwum concluded by urging delegates to look beyond momentary interests and consider what is best for the party’s future.

He appealed to them to give him the opportunity to lead, promising to build bridges, energise the base, and guide the NPP to a resounding victory in the next elections.
