The 20-year-old midfielder has signed a four-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors, becoming their first acquisition ahead of the new season.
“I’m proud to be joining Asante Kotoko,” Gyau told Kotoko media after his unveiling.
“I believe this is the right place for me to develop further. My aim is to help the club win things immediately, and to use this opportunity to take another big step in my career by earning a move to a top European club one day,” the 20-year-old added.
Gyau made his breakthrough during the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, making a dozen appearances as an 18-year-old.
He built on that momentum the following season, featuring in 27 matches and establishing himself as a vital presence in midfield.
Asante Kotoko are strengthening their squad in preparation for the 2025/26 campaign, which includes participation in the CAF Confederation Cup after lifting the 2024/25 FA Cup.
