Some frustrated parents have besieged the premises of the Education Ministry to seek placement for their wards following the challenges that have plagued the exercise.

The angry parents are threatening to embark on naked demonstration over what they describe as wrong placement of their wards.

According to the angry parents, their wards have passed incredibly but they have been placed in the schools they chose.

Meanwhile, the National Coordinator of the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) Secretariat Mark Sasu-Mensah says it is working to resolve the Internet-based challenges that have hindered the Computerized School Selection Placement Secretariat (CSSPS).

He said students and parents in areas without internet connectivity must travel to other areas with such facilities in other to check their placement.

“We are really working to resolve this placement issue. Parents can also use their phones if it has the ability.

His comment follows the creation of a new placement website cssps.gov.gh to help resolve challenges faced by parents.

  1. I knew we would get to this point. Is it not more appropriate to move into a larger apartment with the family than to continue reproducing thousands while still in a single- room accommodation? This is not rocket science. What kind of torture is this?
