According to him President Donald Trump is right since many Africans, especially Ghanaians are not content and have resorted to corruption to make life easier for themselves.
“Trump is right, we live in a shithole country because corruption has taken over the country. It’s very sad; he gave us a perfect definition of African leaders or Africa” he said on Adom TV’s Morning Show “Badwam” Tuesday.
He said Africans especially Ghanaians have invaded the USA because of the poor policies, laziness, corruption, embezzlement, lack of accountability and other self-inflicted social ills that are “working against our progress and potentials at the home front”.

Mr Trump is alleged to have described African counties and Haiti as “shithole” countries.
The US President’s statement led Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo to also tweet that; “The language of US President Donald Trump that the African continent, Haiti and El Salvador are “shithole countries” is extremely unfortunate.
Ghana is certainly not a “shithole country”. We will not accept such insults, even from a leader of a friendly country, no matter how powerful.”
But President Trump denied the allegations, saying “the language used by me at the DACA meeting was tough, but this was not the language used. What was really tough was the outlandish proposal made – a big setback for DACA!”

But commenting on the matter, the controversial MP maintained that President Trump was even lenient in his words by tagging Africa as a “shithole”, because despite all the natural resources that abound in Africa, leaders of the continent continue running to America for aid.
He therefore charged African leaders and policy makers to live up to the people’s expectations and potentials and ponder on how to deal with such canker.
