Parish Priest of the Christ the King church, Rev. Father Campbell has admonished the President to ignore all his critics on the Free Senior High School policy his government has introduced in the country to get the youth of Ghana educated.
Father Campbell made the observation when he led the entire Council of his Parish to pay a courtesy call on the President at the Flag Staff House.
The Roman Catholic Priest added that the government’s decision to introduce Free Secondary education is a much welcomed development particularly by the church which has been at the forefront of helping to get Ghanaian Children educated.
He urged the President to focus on the programme and the other policies while working to address all implementation challenges that have risen or may arise.
He also called for government’s support for some projects taken upon by the Christ The King Parish especially with a piece of land to host and educate street children the church has been feeding.
The President expressed his appreciation to Father Campbell and his council for the courtesy call.
He assured the leadership of the Christ the King church that all their requests for support will be considered by his government.
