The Henry Djaba Memorial Foundation, led by its Founder and Leader, Otiko Djaba, has launched donation boxes aimed at empowering persons with disability through skills training and long-term self-sufficiency.
The initiative seeks to provide individuals with disability the opportunity to acquire employable skills, reduce unemployment, and enhance their economic independence.

The launch, held at the A&C Shopping Mall, received positive public response as attendees contributed generously to the cause.

Otiko Djaba disclosed that she has already established a skills-training school for persons with disability, where students are trained at no cost. She, however, appealed for additional assistance to support feeding and transportation for the trainees.

The National Investment Bank (NIB) has partnered with the foundation by placing donation boxes in all its Accra branches. Esther Prempeh, a member of NIB’s Corporate Affairs unit, reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to the project, noting that it will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable groups and reducing poverty nationwide.
The initiative is expected to make a meaningful impact on the lives of persons with disability and contribute to broader national development efforts.
