The Presidency has released arrangements for media coverage of the state funeral for the eight victims of the August 6 helicopter crash, scheduled for Friday, August 15, 2025, at Black Star Square.
In a statement signed by Presidential Spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu, media houses are required to apply for limited accreditation for photographers and camera operators to access the special media zone within the inner perimeter.
Reporters may join mourners or use media stands without accreditation.
Applications must be submitted to accreditation@isd.gov.gh by 12:00 p.m. GMT on Wednesday, August 13.
A dedicated clean feed will be provided for all local and international outlets to facilitate live coverage, with designated areas available for studio discussions and remote broadcasts.
The Presidency urged media cooperation to ensure a dignified and respectful ceremony.
