Efforts to support the children affected by the tragic 6 August 2025 helicopter crash in Ghana have received a major boost, with donations totaling over GHS 10.1 million and US$20,000 recorded as of 7 February 2026.

The Children Support Fund, set up to ensure the welfare and education of the victims’ children, has attracted contributions from government agencies, private organizations, and individual donors.

Among the notable contributors are the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of the Interior, and staffers from the Office of the President.

The total contributions now amount to GHS 10,150,495.00 and US$20,000.00, a sum intended to provide long-term support for the children affected by the crash, including educational assistance and other welfare initiatives.

Donations are still being received, and interested contributors can make payments via Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited and mobile money platforms.

Officials coordinating the fund have expressed gratitude to all donors for their generosity and urged the public to continue contributing to ensure that the children of the 6 August tragedy have access to the support they need to thrive despite the loss of their parents.
