Hearts of Oak have announced the signing of defender Ali Mohammed ahead of the 2025/26 football season.
The 23-year-old joins the Phobians on a two-year deal from fellow Ghana Premier League side Vision FC.
Speaking after completing his move, Ali revealed that he has long admired the club, partly due to his close relationship with Kelvin Osei Asibey, a current fan favourite at Hearts.
“I’ve always watched Hearts because of my ‘brother’, Kelvin, and I admire the energy and passion in the team,” he said.
“Joining this great club is a dream come true. I’m here to work hard, learn, and help the team achieve great things.”
Ali Mohammed becomes the third signing of the transfer window for Hearts of Oak, following the arrivals of Kwabena Owusu and Baba Amadu.
The club, led by head coach Didi Dramani, is strengthening its squad as it prepares for the upcoming campaign.
After a narrow defeat to Asante Kotoko in the President’s Cup, Hearts of Oak will next face Heart of Lions in the Gbese Mantse Homowo Charity Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium on August 17.
