Hearts of Oak have officially appointed Mas-Ud Didi Dramani as the club’s new head coach ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
Dramani, a former head coach of both the Black Stars and Black Queens, has signed a two-year contract with the Phobians.
He takes over from Ivorian coach Aboubakar Ouattara, who has now been reassigned as Special Advisor to the club’s Board of Directors.
The unveiling ceremony took place at the club’s Commercial Centre in Accra, where Dramani was introduced alongside his assistant coach, Abdul Gazale.
The rest of the newly constituted technical team includes Fiifi Parker Hanson as second assistant coach, Najau Issah as goalkeepers coach, Henry Martey as team manager, Enoch Jordan Daitey as physical trainer, and Peter Boafo, who also joins the technical staff.
Dramani, who previously worked with Right to Dream Academy and Danish club FC Nordsjælland, will be aiming to revive the fortunes of the Accra-based giants in the upcoming season.
The team’s first major test under the new technical setup will come on Sunday, July 6, when they face archrivals Asante Kotoko in the 2025 President’s Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Hearts of Oak will then head to Nigeria to participate in the Eko International Tournament.
