Hearts of Oak have a goalscoring problem – Didi Dramani

Hearts of Oak

Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has conceded that his team is struggling in front of goal following their narrow defeat to Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians fell 1-0 to the defending champions at the TNA Park on Sunday in a Matchday 17 encounter, with Salim Adams’ second-half strike proving decisive as the Yellow and Mauve maintained their grip at the top of the standings.

Despite a disciplined display, Hearts once again failed to convert their chances, a concern Dramani openly acknowledged after the final whistle.

The Accra-based side have managed just 11 goals this season while conceding seven, leaving them with a modest goal difference of four.

“Absolutely, goalscoring is really a problem. You saw the chance we had in the first half and the one in the second half,” he said.

“These chances you don’t miss them, but we’re still in work in progress,” Dramani added.

The result leaves Hearts of Oak fifth on the league table with 28 points. They will be eager to respond when they host Hohoe United in their Matchday 18 fixture.
