New Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has expressed his commitment to building a consistent and sustainable team as he begins his tenure with the Ghana Premier League side.
The former FC Nordsjælland assistant coach was officially unveiled on Monday at the club’s Commercial Centre in Accra after signing a two-year contract with the Phobians.
Dramani steps into the role following the reassignment of Ivorian coach Aboubakar Ouattara, who now serves as a Special Advisor to the club’s Board of Directors.
Speaking during his unveiling, the former Black Stars assistant coach outlined his vision for the club’s future.
“I will try to understudy the vision of the board, which represents the direction of the club, and work to establish a clear path built on consistency and sustainability,” he told the press on Monday.
“It is our responsibility to maintain that… with a particular focus on implementing comprehensive technical programmes that will enhance both individual players and the team as a whole,” Dramani added.
He will be supported by Abdul Gazale as his assistant.
The newly formed technical team is determined to revitalize Hearts of Oak’s performance ahead of the new season.
Their first major test will be against rivals Asante Kotoko in the 2025 President’s Cup, scheduled for Sunday, July 6 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Following that, the team will head to Nigeria to participate in the Eko International Tournament.
