Hearts of Oak confirm signing midfielder Abdul Karim from Nations FC

Accra Hearts of Oak have announced the signing of midfielder Abdul Karim as the club continues its squad build-up for the new football season.

The 22-year-old joins from Premier League rivals Nations FC, penning a two-year deal after completing his medicals.

Karim made 19 league appearances last season, earning recognition for his tireless work rate, ball-winning ability, and composure on the ball.

His performances also earned him a call-up to the Black Galaxies squad during the CHAN qualifiers, although Ghana failed to secure qualification.

He becomes the fifth addition to Didi Dramani’s side this transfer window, joining Frank Duku, Prince Kwabena Owusu, Ali Mohammed, and Baba Amadu.

The Phobians, who will feature in the upcoming 2025 GHALCA Top 4 competition, are eager to sharpen their form ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.

They face Heart of Lions in their opening fixture on Wednesday at the Legon Sports Stadium.
