Board Member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Akwasi Agyeman, has pledged the club’s full backing for newly appointed head coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani.

Dramani, a former coach of Right to Dream Academy and Danish side FC Nordsjælland, was officially unveiled on Monday, June 30, at the club’s Commercial Centre.

He takes over from Aboubakar Ouattara on a two-year contract ahead of the 2025/26 football season.

Speaking after the unveiling, Agyeman assured that the club’s leadership, including Executive Chairman Togbe Afede XIV, is committed to supporting Dramani’s tenure.

“You can have the assurance from me, coming from the board and the Executive Chairman [Togbe Afede XIV], that the board is going to support you fully in the discharge of your duties,” Agyeman stated.

“We want to create a winning mentality around the team,” he added.

Dramani’s first assignment as Hearts of Oak boss will be a high-stakes clash against his former club, Asante Kotoko, in the 2025 President’s Cup scheduled for Sunday, July 6, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
